Best of the Bay 2016

The 2016 Best of the Bay homebrew competition is right around the corner! If you’re interested in entering the competition, registration is now open!

This year, the bottle drop-off starts 7/13 and ends 7/27. Each entry is $7 for non-members and $4 for BHG dues-paying members. The competition will be limited to a maximum of 6 entries per person.

We’ve also opened up the competition to cider entries this year, so keep that in mind if you have any 2015 ciders hanging around!

Winners will be announced Sunday, August 7, at our Best of the Bay Homebrew Festival from 11am – 3pm in the Boundary Bay Annex Garden (off Maple St). The festival will be open to family and friends, so bring them out to show off all the great beers we brew! There will be games for kids and a non-alcoholic beverage option. We will have food for purchase on-site.

BHG Commemorative taster glasses will be for sale for $10 ($5 for members). You don’t need to buy a taster glass to come into the festival, but all proceeds go to support the Bellingham Homebrewers Guild. There will also be a raffle to win cool homebrew-related prizes, and other BHG swag for sale.
